Musical Theatre Choir (MTC) is a welcoming and exciting choir, rehearsing weekly.

 

Founded in 2015 in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire by professional musical director and singing coach Ashley James Turner, MTC focusses on singing repertoire from a wide range of musical theatre.

 

MTC has an open to all policy and welcomes members from all backgrounds, 18 years old and above to join our fun and vibrant choirs.

 

Ashley founded MTC to share his passion and knowledge of Musical Theatre and to create a community of singers in choirs that are supportive, fun, knowledgable and community focussed.

 

Typically, MTC members enjoy musical theatre and come from a variety of singing experience from complete beginners to trained performers.

 

MTC is proud to be welcoming and friendly and this remains at the heart of all of its choirs. At MTC you can expect to explore a wide variety of musical theatre songs, learning the correct singing technique to support and release your full potential.

 

Ashley founded the choir to explore old and new, well and less known songs in a relaxed environment, to celebrate a fantastic, interesting and intriguing art form.

 

At MTC you can expect to learn music from composers such as Richard Rodgers, Jason Robert Brown, Stephen Sondheim, Stephen Schwartz, Maury Yeston, Jeanine Tsori to name a few.
